The Best Job Ever is Self-Employment

I’ve had many jobs throughout my short time here in life. Although I’m only 22, I know what the retail industry is like, through years of being a sales associate in many different stores - even online sales for a web design directory. I also know what the politics field is like, because I was appointed on a State Commission by the governor at the tender age of 19. My path has led me to experience being paid or rewarded through motivational speaking, as well as mentoring. But if I had to choose one experience or job that has been the most rewarding, I’d say it was when I was motivational speaker. Although it was nice being paid to do something that I loved, and that came naturally, the most important part was that I was self-employed. I chose my hours, I answered to no one, and most importantly, I was in control. If I had to answer to someone, even if it was doing something that I loved, it would not be a job that I’d like to have. I wouldn’t enjoy it as much.
