Speak Now or Forever Hold Your Peace

Me and my wife were married in a small church in a small community. After being married for 18 years this July, there is one part of my wedding day that I will never forget. I have never seen this happen at a wedding and did not think I would be seeing this at mine. There were small problems on the day of the wedding. The cake arrived with no cake topper that I thought the company makeing the cake was providing, and the bridal comb tiara my wife-to-be was going to wear looked stunning. I had family from out of town show up late. All these things were problems, but easily fixed. What happend during the ceremony will forever live in infamy. My soon to be bride was coming down the isle, as beautiful as anything I have ever seen in my life. I did not realise at this time that she did not have her boquet. The ceremony is going good until the preacher got to the part where it is said: If anyone knows of a reason why these two should not be wed, speak now or forever hold your peace. I am of course facing forward when I hear, "Excuse me". I look at my soon to be wife who looks horrified. My heart is now in my throat. My wifes mother stands and says "She forgot her bouqet". Then she proceeded to run out of the room and get it. Harmless enough but scared the crap out of me. I was told one day I would look back at this and laugh. Everyone else is laughing but I am still waiting on that day.
