Original Party Style is the Best Accessory

When I go to parties, I will usually take a cue from the celebrity and gossip magazines. And when it comes to fancy dress ideas, I like to copy styles from unusual-dressing celebrities such as Bjork and Lady Gaga, because they often wear different and original outfits. I don't go as overboard as they do, howeverthey often wear extremely outlandish wigs, hats, jewelry or other accessories. I just do my best to copy the basic clothes where I can. Between vintage shops, ebay and celebrity knock-off clothing shops online, it is fairly easy, though sometimes it can get expensive. I try to go as cheaply as I am, because I have to live on a budget. But quite often, I can find it for quite cheap and it will surprise my friends because at least one will assume I blew my bank account on an outfit, when I did not. I had the most fun this last Halloween, when I went to my favorite cousin's costume party in a Lady Gaga-style outfit. It was a mock-up of the metallic spiral gown she wore to the 2010 Grammy Awards except mine was longer and had short sleeves because I don't have long sleeves. Everyone loved it. So far, that has been my favorite look. But there are other parties to comewho knows what celeb might inspire me next?
