My Personal Experience with Pregnancy

Being pregnant was not easy. Lots of people say that you have a glow or that this an enjoyable time, but that was not the case for me. I was so tired in the beginning that I was in bed by 8pm every night. I started to have nosebleeds and leg cramps for the first time in my life. The second trimester is definitely the easiest though. Some people refer to it as the “honeymoon phase”. I was wearing my maternitywear and feeling very comfortable with my state of pregnancy. I was no longer super tired and I was not too big yet. By the third trimester, I was swollen, huge, going to the bathroom every 20 minutes and horribly uncomfortable, especially when I tried to sleep at night. Although I did not get morning sickness in the beginning of my pregnancy, I vomited during the last 3 weeks because my daughter was pushing up on me. This caused heartburn as well. Alas, my pregnancy ended with a scheduled c-section at 40 weeks and I have a healthy baby girl. Phew!
